election has gone, no point news channels, lame IPL, lame reality shows.. even starworld showing reruns on primetime, no vh1 or mtv in HD. Meh.

NEFT transactions are cleared every hour. its only the bank which reflects it little later on the account.

I read that SWIFT payments are same too. Money is transacted almost instantly but the banks take 3-4 days to show it in customer's accounts.

I recommend IMPS for online transfers if the option is available. Super fast.

SWIFT is for international transfers. I like IMPS too but unfortunately it is not widely publicised. people don't know their MMID linked to their accounts.

Yup. Thankfully both ICICI and Yes Bank makes them accessible easily from the backend.

it took me great pains to get my MMID from SBI. YES BANK gave it along with the welcome kit.
