Yaa thats right. Create a new partition and get started on Linux. You can boot Windows whenever you need Windows Games or Apps that are not available on Linux.
(posted this on another topic as well)Concidentally, I just installed Ubuntu on my work PC today, and I'm loving it.Email, web, chat, development works like a beauty. Even doing "remote desktop" to a Windows PC works like charm...So I plan to work on Ubuntu mostly and only boot into Windows to do testing when required...
azureus has a linux version that works as good as windows one . Also there is ktorrent and many more . Utorrent works properly under wine .
