I'm also a KDE fan but was impressed by Ubuntu with GNOME... Kubuntu is not that "polished" with it's KDE (its not bad either), so I would recommend you install the upcoming openSuse 10.3 next month if you want KDE.openSuse used to come in 3-5 CDs to download but they will now release a single-CD install (for both GNOME and KDE) to keep it simple like Ubuntu.In short, if you like GNOME go for Ubuntu, if you like KDE go for openSuse.About Fedora I'm not sure coz I haven't tried it recently, I will try the next version coming in Nov...Of course, all three distros (will) have download version options (single-CD installs) for both GNOME and KDE...
