look at the article linked from this tweet. what do you think about it?

is the headline accurate? do they talk about the fair usage policy? do they tell you that the speeds would be dropped to 256 kbps from 1/2/4 mbps?

they do seem to highlight that the minimum speeds on the new plans is 2mbps. what does that mean?

i had like you to consider this bullshit before posting any more junk from them here on the forum.

ya this what most BB co do...even the limited plans with data cap they lable them unlimited plans.....nd since most ppl dnt knw abt it end up doped and which results in bad mouth fr the co. .....

As you know, I have my share of issues with TT, but to be fair, if you RTFA it is mentioned in the graphics provided that the speed is reduced to 256kbit/s after the limit is reached, and surprisingly for Airtel, nowhere in the article is the world "unlimited" mentioned. This is a good step in my view, since it finally suggests a little bit of truth in their advertising rather than misleading customers as they once did with their Unlimited 4mbit/s with 8GB FUP for Rs899 "impatience" plans.I fear Airtel is reading what I have to say and is taking some of it in to account. I should stop giving them ideas!

right. the airtel ad that appears on this forum too has been updated. earlier it stated 4mbps unlimited plan for Rs. 700 something. new one talks about a 2mbps plan that starts at around Rs. 650.

Yeah! My 'future colleague' told me that he received an email regarding speed upgrades.He said that the speeds are increased to 2mbps and the FUP is now 5 GB He consumed the bandwidth allotted to him in just 5 days. Told him to join IBF, haha xD
