Yesterday I called airtel digital tv CC 1800-102-8080. Following introductory packages are available-> For south indians,2000 Rs for 12 months(SOUTH-SILVER) For north indians,2500 Rs for 6 months(NORTH-MEGA)No silver package for booking 11/10/2008 onwards Meanwhile, NORTH- SILVER offer was there for 2 days 09/10/2008 and 10/10/2008(For north indians) Guyz what is this?Dont you think its unfair practices by airtel and preferential treatment to north indians?Just because airtel is so popular in north india and they got very good response from north indians compared to south india, so they discontinued 2000 Rs. package. Call CC and confirm please!

bcoz of bloody DD (bore dharsan )
But now why should we bother abt hindi channels ?
nothing spl in hindi channels .. its also like other language channels .
all people , first interest is only their own mother language channels ..

but not my family nobody watches the channel of mother language,and i havent watched a channel of any indian language to date unless there are english subtitles ,if i do watch movies of indian language its mostly in theatres.

But now things are changing, There is 1 Tamil Channel which has topped all other language channels including hindi, in the TRP Rating, that is Sun Tv during the Sunday 7.30 PM Movie.Thats the power of Tamil in Media.Television viewing is not only for stupid TRP's. Every Regional channel have there own greatness.. And we cant ignore our national language too.. So If any Channel produce good program we can watch it if we understand the language. As An Indian dont hate indian.

And i m requesting that dont use unauthorized words.My intention in posted the mail is before going to purchase any dth we have to ming which channels we mostly watch and who can provide these channels for best price.

We should blame airtel for bringing north vs south indian stuff.But still I think their southern offers r great compared to northen offers. I am aiming to buy a cable solution which will provide my all channels at reduced cost, I think any dth wont be able to do that. All dth providers are having some pros and cons, so choose the service provider only after doing thorough research and as per ur requirements of channels. Dont get carried away by luring offers! Tips- Hathway STB is better solution for those who want to enjoy all indian channels. Not just north or not just south. Enjoy both!!
