Although, in its response to an RTI application filed by us, the DoT had said that it had not ordered ISPs to block the sites in question, some ISPs continue to block them. Airtel had not responded to us then.

admin its high time we sue DOT and Airtel for violating due process and blocking sites without court order but i know that we dont have any $$$.admin atleast have a donation button so that we may sue DOT\GOVT\Airtel and other isps in the future.I forsee the govt teaming with bollywood and banning torrents .
After seeing few tracert from my friends , i think this might be a routing issue.
Here is what you can do
On windows :
1.)Start > All programs > Accessories > command prompt
2.) type the following
tracert www.mediafire.com
3.)Press enter
>> You should start seeing IP address starting to appear. See if you can find a address like
4 55 ms 7 ms 24 ms 220.227.53.230
5 * * 54 ms 115.255.239.1
6 53 ms 54 ms 10 ms 115.248.224.97
7 72 ms 7 ms 9 ms 115.248.212.234
8 54 ms 8 ms 7 ms 62.216.147.77
9 189 ms 143 ms 143 ms so-0-1-0.0.pjr02.ldn001.flagtel.com [85.95.25.137]
10 210 ms 214 ms 212 ms so-1-0-0.0.cjr02.ldn004.flagtel.com [85.95.25.10]

This torrent thing must go, in all fairness the latest in Bollywood are available for viewing only a few days after their release on umpteen sites, why would you deprive them of that respite and the opportunity to make a living before that.
