I am quiet lucky that none of the sites are being blocked in Tata communication (VSNL)............. I think Airtel and Reliance have blocked this sites....

I think Tata communication (VSNL)is not blocking the site as bobbyguitarist is using beam telecom wich take bandwith from VSNL......he is lucky....

Would confirm the tracert status of Reliance in Evening as many users are saying it had been blocked but till yesterday all sites were working .

It is working on my MTNL Connection but no the Local ISP connection.What is the reason for this block (any official word from DOT)? File Sharing Site are the least used in India AFAIK, Mostly Everyone is Torrent Crazy.

I dont know why ISP dont give a fight agaisnt such orders . If TRAI implements a rule to raise the basic limit of broadband to 512 or even 1mbps FUPtel would be the first to protest against these .

If ISPs and DOT keeps on blocking sites in this way, then no one would be required a Broadband connection just for surfing and checking mails. Then what will these ISP do ??

there are many arguments to it. But as an ISP , they have the right to fight for any such control. DOT and TRAI is good for nothing dept and wht were they doing for past 3-4 years of improving basic internet ? Some media company would have given some money to these officials.. and they are noding thier head. From top to bottom , this country is riddled with corruption , i wouldnt wonder if DOT /TRAI are not in those list

TRAI/DOT dont even have the basic knowledge of securing Govt websites ( if those comes under thier control) but readily want to block sites and put up a scaring image on the blocked site. WTF ?
