I'm on MTNL Triband in Mumbai. A couple of hours ago, Mediafire and link-removed (http) were blocked. Now i can access them as well as other file-hosts.

Flagtel is a subsidiary of reliance communications,and it operates a major optical fiber cable FLAG cable.Reliance is the major partner in this censorship along with airtel and DoT.....By changing your dns,u can bypass the ban, although there should be no such ban..

Seems like some Govt officials are hands in glove with RIAA and trying to get this accomplished. If there was one Govt move worth protesting, it is this. This isn't time to be happy that some of the sites are still working for you, if this is real, the ban will eventually come to all ISPs. Unless this move is protested hard, some corrupt govt officials will sell away our internet freedom and leave us with this censorship forever.
