You dont need to like axis. I hate it myself but getting a credit card wasnt easier with any other bank.

Apparently, amex automatically waives the annual fees if you spend above X annually. But, amex doesn't work on Amazon, and quite a few other online retailers

And quite a number of shops tooThey charge more commission than Visa or Mastercard and thus shops refuse to use them

So... Went with mom today and got her account shut down as well.
Now the next thing to deal with is the change in how they give me cashback.
Instead of adding back to my account instantly, they are doing it like this:
