@TheNuttyNet I had to learn the basics of Python programming. I have some experience in SQL & Linux from early in my software industry career. And of course it helps to have a Linux box at home to practice.

- Networks, LAN, WAN, subnetting, calculating subnet masks, IPv4, IPv6, router configuration, paths/routes, router programming. All these can be picked up in a certification program
- Python programming
- SQL programming
- Linux command line, scripting
