I know the pain because I had their shitty internet for 3 month plan but now I won't take it even if they give me for half the price.

if you are stuck with them... get an account on seedbox or debrid type service and use it for pure downloading 24x7 or at least whatever their fup is.

Nah, they are refusing to give refund. In fact, it is in their T&A that money will not be refunded

I cannot push this torrent thing too much as it is kinda banned in india. They could legally threaten me saying the govt has banned torrents & you could land up in jail & all that crap.

Net neutrality ended long time back. They won't buy that either. ISPs have free reign now.

I just need to pass these 6 months somehow switching between my isps for download as i will definitely not disconnect hathway.

I am not sure about VPNs because the ones i did try don't work. A couple of them did but they give shitty speeds. I get normal speeds of 50-60 mps & i have not seen those speeds on any of the VPNs i went in free trial. If anyone knows any VPNs which give free trials and actually work, i am open to suggestions.

Torrenting was never illegal as far as I know. Torrenting pirated stuff is.

I would suggest signing up for a cheap seedbox and downloading from there. Cheapest ones aren't that much costlier compared to a VPN.

Are you a criminal now? Users may get 3 years in jail for viewing torrent site, blocked URL in India

Just accessing information under a blocked URL will land you in jail and leave your bank account poorer by Rs 3 lakh.

One of the cheapest I have tried is UltraSeedBox S-WIND which is around Rs 380 a month ~4000 if paid yearly. They don't have a trial but if you don't like it you can open a ticket within a week and they'll refund ya.

There are seedboxes which are even cheaper like Seedboxws . They have a 1 EUR (~80Rs a month) plan.
