TPF v/s Airtel - Long term review and comparison (Pick your poison)

Is anyone else on Tata Play Fiber facing unstable IPv6? I'm using the ISP ONT in bridge mode with a TP-Link Archer AX10 doing the PPPoE dial-up.
With IPv6 enabled, I noticed that some websites only load after refreshing once and Pv6 test sites sometimes show IPv6 working and sometimes say I have no IPv6.
After disabling IPv6 on the router, all of these issues disappeared. IPv4 has been completely stable.
Has anyone else experienced intermittent IPv6 routing or similar issues on Tata Play Fiber? If yes, was it an ISP issue, an ONT issue, or did you find a workaround?
 
@_rajat glad you got power and wiring issues sorted and now its working great for you!! do give us your full review once you use service for couple more days.
 
@yashg no issues for me on v6? In fact it's working v well. Passes the v6 tests with a perfect score.

@_rajat my ONT also reports around -27 but things seem OK here. Tech said it is the minimum required power at the ONT anything lower than it will require cabling I guess.
 
@Chip -27dBm sits right at the edge of what most ONTs can handle. It's not a dead link, but it's close enough to spec that you'd start seeing things like CRC errors, sync drops, or intermittent flapping. So basically link isn't completely broken but your signal gets's too weak or too noisy.

Ideal range should be -15 to 25 dBm tbvh. YOU BB for me is -16dBm which is extremely good. While Hathway sits around -22dBm which ain't bad and acceptable as well.
 
@Chip I got the connection rewired and re-spliced for peace of mind as the power kept jumping b/w -24 to -27 dBm. As @jehunix said -27 dBm is at the edge but you should not see any problems if the power is stable.

@yashg No issues with IPv6 here. I think your router might be the culprit , had the same router as you a few years ago and it was very glitchy. Try to reset it once and see if things improve. TP-Link pushes buggy firmware updates which cripples the performance.
What I did was got a new Asus router and things improved drastically.
 
@_rajat seems like TP-Link issue only tbvh! I had same issues on my TP-Link routers long back with Airtel Xtreme. They're very poorly built tbvh. Range, speed, reliability everything sucks with TPLink. I'd always prefer Asus if I want cheap routers now....
 
I mean it worked great initially but then started acting up after a year or so. I used it with both TPF and Airtel Xstream, kept blaming the ISP for random disconnections and PPPoE timeout but turns out my router was trash. TP-Link crippled it with poor software updates. Hardware can't degrade in one year.
 
@jehunix Yes I may ask for re-cabling if the low signal persists. I need to check it again. TPF techs were doing some keeda with the cable a few days back claiming they would replace the main incoming cable to the building. Lets see. Airtel is at -21 dBm.
