6 months ago my Airtel connection was down for 4 days straight with no resolution in sight. After it was back, I called CC and they added extra validity of 4 days.

@_rajat okay I checked and TRAI formally mandated it since 1 Oct 2024 so after that Airtel started doing I guess cause when I used in 2022 or so they never did that.

Still many companies don't do this tbvh which is strange...

It's been 20 days now since TPF as my only connection. Overall experience has been solid in terms of browsing, streaming,WFH and other meaningful tasks(not speedtests lol). I did play a couple of games like valorant and CS2 with friends after a long time and got the best possible pings. No packet loss or anything. Folks on Airtel did complain of occasional packet loss which was strange.
There were some minor niggles like App store not working when connected to WiFi but got sorted out after a couple of days.
Getting a static public IPv4 really helped, didn't face any random slowdowns after that. Already explained why CGNAT is a problem with TPF, I also feel IPv6 is not properly configured, well that's a story for some other time. Ended up disabling IPv6 completely. Here's the link : CGNAT issues with TPF.
Things have turned around for TPF in the recent times, I guess they have been improving their service quality and working actively to improve customer experience.
I am getting speeds upto 340 Mbps on majority servers while downloading stuff. Great for a 200 Mbps plan.
Don't feel the need to get a backup ISP given TPF's uptime(which is great) and customer support. Initially I was planning to get Jio Airfiber FWA as a backup connection but will hold onto it for now.
