Tplink XZ2000-G3 - Change serial number

I purchased a TP-Link XZ2000-G3. While configuring I found out that it has a validation for 16 digit hex serial number. And my ISP old serial number is 12 digit hex. Is there any possible way to get over this 16 digit validity in this device? Changing at ISP end is not an option for me. Any leads would be much appreciated.

Hi, how many digits you have? If you have 12, you need ti convert the first 4 digits to hexadecimal, you need to verify that, for example, a Huawei HGU the serial number begin with 4 letters, HWTC then it continue with 8 letters and numbers, when you convert the first 4 letters to hex you will have something like this —-> 48 57 54 43 and then the other 8 digits, so now you have 16 digits and you can introduce that serial number to TP-Link ONT.
