UL plans compared - MTNL (Delhi + mumbai), Airtel

yes i want them to launch 512 kbps at 599.. :urock:

I think 512 kbps should be Rs 599 & 256 for Rs 300 for both cities. Maybe i am being too greedy. :O :icry:

They just sent the ad (we saw in DNA) as an email I replied back (to helpdesk)
Hi,
What an anti climax, no change for Ltd schemes. :-( I personally find these changes very unimaginative. More like monkey see monkey do, wrt Airtel.. I hope you have something for the limited packs in Mumbai. If nothing changes then Airtel 550 combo pack in Mumbai seems good enough for me. Especially after all the troubles we had from 1st April to end Jul '09. Please pass this feedback to the relevant dept.

Regards

yes we will have to do that. I don't have airtel coverage in my area or else would have dumped MTNL. :isorry:

c'mon people! Atleast they have made 1 mbps affordable (atleast). I'm on the 849 NU plan and every month I pay around a 1000 rupees more as extra MB charges. 1.25 GB gets over in less than 15 days! Need to wait till 12 to download anything. My routine is all messed because of this, living a call-center like life! Now is the time to change! Downgrading to 1mbps would be hard(!) but I'm just sick of the 1.25 GB limit on the 849 NU plan.I have a doubt though, is there any Fair Usage Policy with these plans, or are they truly unlimited?

1 Mbps in Delhi is Rs 3,999/-. You call that affordable?!:S

I was talking about the new plans in Mumbai. Delhiites have always got a better deal from MTNL as compared to Mumbai, and I guess this time too, you guys would have the last laugh ;)

@Shashank. I agree with you, there is no option else to stick with 849NU. There is no Fair Usage Policy implemented in any of the Mtnl plans. Delhiites are very lucky when compared to Mumbai

The MTNL Mumbai tariff page now displays this
'MTNL Broadband Internet Services Tariff Plans (w.e.f. 15/08/09)(for existing & new customers)'
so I wonder if there is anything for 'limited' users to look forward to.:@

well, I don't have much hopes from MTNL Delhi. if they had to slash the prices then they would have already done it.
