Multislot gprs device or not its fairly easy to browse the net on the PC using airtel Gprs. Speeds are around 4.5 to 5 KBps

dude on normal phone u get 35-40 ka speedn on edge u can get upto 384kbps ka speed

384k is way too much,only 3G is able to achive that speeds,In reality u get 220k max if everything goes right.Most Nokia s40 phones,which constiute a bulk of market,hasnt got multi-channel gprs.

Hi airtel offers unlimited 128 kbps GPRS connetion @Rs.300/PM. I want to know how the speed is when using it on PC. My friend at Delhi used airtel 128 kbps broadband @Rs. 700/PM.If one can get same speed and unlimited connection with GPRS, why should one opt for the later plan.What is the truth behind this? What are the shortcomings of GPRS connection.
