are you using the airtel north speed test??
thjere seems to be some problem with it

i have run the speedtest on all the other 3 options and have got upload speeds of about 80-90 on each
i am putting screenshots of these 3 and also the one for north

also i am putting a link frm speedtest.net

there also i am getting 100-200 kbps upload

i am on home 799 plan

slowly airtel is going to fase out slow upload speeds to everyone in India, close to 128kbps upload for mostly all plans. this is how people regulate piracy in other countries, not technology perspective. at least that;s what everybody think or media industry has forced carriers to have slow upload rates to the users, this obviously is the bad part on carriers suppressing creativity and data sharing among users not to upload any data faster. and in turn encouraging youtube like sites to share data in turn encouraging big time google inc corporates to expand their infrastructure , rule the market etc... it is all like iam big you are small type scenario everywhere, iam sure the same thing must have happened with airtel when media giants must have approached airtel saying look man all of your ip;s are being logged on so and so torrents and one day you need to pay for the damages etc.. as you are giving so much upload speeds and users are sharing copyrighted content in turn loosing money story etc.... these media giants does not want people to share their creativity / data. what people might have achieved due to internet does not come into plan in terms of market numbers coz no one creates such market numbers as ther eis no profit loss accounts to be shown to a person, so carriers may not go back and say see our clients use fat pipes in this perticular manner which exceeds in positive way than that might have been used to pirate any content. so be ready to hear from everybody that internet upload speeds are only 1/8th or whatever and if you want to share data consult online sites or corporate sites, coz collective people computer power will kill corporate giant;s infrastructure as there will be no need for that. intel still sells 10 or 100x chips to private people mostly sleeping 70% time and talk about vista load time and performance to sell newer chips or for some gaming thing etc..

They repeat like prerecorded message...your upload speed is fine as ratio from our side is 1:4!!! completely sick

MTNL gives 1:1 on 256/512Kbps plan.
