Uploads on Airtel Broadband: Are they counted?

guys i m migrating from 799 plan to 1199 plan...2 mbps nd 15 gb limit.... but i want to know suppose if i download a movie using link-removed or any ither torrent, then while i download d movie there is a simultaneous unstoppable upload of d same movie dat gpes on.... so wat i wanna kno is is dis uploading also counted in the download limit , v r entitled to ????plz reply guys.... nd also d xperiences of ANY1 IN THE 1199 2MBPS PLAN..:rofl:
 
i think airtel counts both upload and download in total download. so mostly it wud be counted.
 
100 percent they count for sure, you can take my world for it.
 
yup they do count upload.15 Gb limit of data transfer doesn't matter its download or upload :P
 
mtnl has a weird policy where they are not apparently counting uploads. otherwise. both uploads and downloads constitute data transfer.
 
Weird?!! thats atleast little bit consumer favouring policy :p
 
it does not seem like a policy anyways. uploads are expensive compared to downloads for ANY ISP. so it's absurd.

Yes definately. Download an AVI (170M) it shows are 340M in the unbilled usage.
BTW there is a way to limit the upload speed in Torrent but this impacts the download speed.
