URGENT! Buying TV, Need suggestions!

my old Sony crt tv is good but i have one major complaint. it takes too damn long for the picture to appear when you power it on... like 10 seconds or more...other tvs like LG power up much faster... so ya check your new tv that is starts up fast and the sound system is good with a subwoofer in it and its better to buy a large crt than a small lcd IMO

my Philips crt has the same issue. after using LCDs, i notice that CRT monitors are TOO damn slow too

I have an Akai 29 inch CRT TV for almost 10 years.... but there is not much delay whatsoever.. pic comes within a second after switching on.. if the weather is too cold then it takes a few seconds for the picture to get clear and no single repair till datebut that was an imported one...

I have a Sony WEGA 29", must be around 8 years old... neva eva had a single problem with it... The recption is amazing... amazing clarity.. My friend has a samsung model but I find it to be a poece of shit in front of SONY. The soundi s rocking and it has all the input ports.

i have a question to some one who has 29 inch tv and Tata Sky,do 29 inch has same picture quality as 21 inch with tata sky and cable.and how is Sony 29 inch with tata sky.

Picture quality on Sharp tends be better than Sony.

@ lokesh18 do check out it before you buy with cable and Tata Sky input.
because friend told me 29 inc TVs stretch the picture, dont know how far its true.
