Hi I have a ZTE 831AH ADSL modem. The problem is that each time I switch on the modem I have to go to the admin page and enter my username password as it gets reset to multiplay. I can connect successfully after entering the same but the next time I switch on the modem I need to do the same. I even did a soft reset after entering the settings but the problem still persists.I get the following error after entering the settings but i can connect to the internet....ChrisError This Product has encountered an error. The error Log can be seen below. The most recent errors are Last in the List, and the time are seconds since the last reboot. When Error Severity Error Description 19 error-failure im:Invalid argument:Failed to set Standard to Unknown (542) 25 error-failure im: ext-dmz: Policy interface types must be different. 25 error-failure im: Reading owned node but no read lock acquired 172808 error-silent im:Changed iplan IP address to 192.168.1.1 173585 error-silent im_backend:Changed IpPppoe_0_35 IP address to 117.195.32.169

Wrt the issue of user-name-not-getting-saved.... normally when you change any parms in the modem setup they get saved for only current-session. To save the changes permanently... you need to EXPLICITLY save the changes... For example in my WA1003A modem, there is an option TOOLS-->SYSTEM COMMANDS--> SAVE ALL.@essbebe may confirm the above.

/draog/ The option Not available. in my beetel110BX1. will check AX Mt882 tomorrow. Usually You should wait for RE Boot at least two or three minutes for the settings to be saved. Then recheck .will wait for feed back

UPDATE 8TH AUG 0830am YES AVAILABLE IN AX mt 882 Huawei modem .
