very slow speeds

i am living in indore ,few days back i got my evdo connection.it is giving very slow speeds.max around 200 kbps.speed remains same where ever i go in my area ,even in exchange.when i called them they simply said speed can not be increased no matter what i do.he also said that he has already told the higher authorities about this but nobody is doing anything.he said that a hell lot of complaints are coming everyday and he is very upset that he cant do anything.he said they have reached the maximum number of customers allowed a lot of time ago.he asked me to complain to higher authorities agm,dgm etc if something can be done.so firstly he asked me to write a letter for area manager.any body having good speeds in indore any area please reply and any other suggestions.i will submit my complaint to area manager tomorrow.

200 kbps is normal for BSNL EVDO.

guys i am also from indore....i want to know which plan r u using and what is the download speed u r getting.....
please be specific whether it is kbps or KBps there is a whole lot of diff in both of them...infact... 1KBps=8kbps so u could understand the diff....
the EVDO says max of 2.4 Mbps that comes to 300KBps of download speed so the speed u specified above of "200"is that in KBps or kbps....
