I have seen the audio video sync issue in star HD channels. It doesnt happen always. But there is definitely some issue. I have seen this happening more on Star World HD. I pause the live TV and start again to resolve the issue.

Yup. especially when your issue was going on, i used to check every 2 days all the STAR HD channels. there is no audio mismatch. only once i had faced when mascot too was facing arnd 1.5 mnths back.

you have got a solid case. if they tell,it's from their end,tell my case, probably then they will blame on DVR.

It rarely happens now a days. Most of the time DVR is responsible for it. I have many a times observed that after DVR 50-60% memory is consumed, it starts creating problems.

And one more question .. on a HD channel if the composite cable is used to connect to tv .. does it show anything or no signal ?I have already ordered dvr via local dealer, should get it tomorrow in the evening.

Every Program on Colors and Colors HD starts on same time, but in Colors HD as there is no commercial, so it goes non stop and Big Boss Ends in 45 Minutes only unlike one hr in Colors SD.

And one more question .. on a HD channel if the composite cable is used to connect to tv .. does it show anything or no signal ?

I have already ordered dvr via local dealer, should get it tomorrow in the evening.


Its upto you which cable you connect, both HDMI and Composite will work but alternatively . Both ports will not work simultaneously.

The difference between HDMI and composite is , in HDMI PQ is some what better as compared in case of component .

Hey guys! still my Audio sync problem also not rectified... i told my Area Manager he said i will get a (swap(exchange/new) i am not sure) DVR box , he told me i wont get the problem in the New Box.Letz see... were it ends.... I also noticed that many a DVR users complaints about this audio sync...

If they blame it on DVR then its not done really. I will fight it out.Mascot.....My DVR is 90% free. It was 100% free few days back, still the issue. I m mailing them now.
