Ek question toh main puchna bhool hi gaya .... is there a way to watch picture in picture using the d2h ? since it has 2 tuners onboard ..
Yes Dude, PIP is there in d2h, infact they have Mosaic (12 PIP) genre wise, but I didn't find it usefull, boz PQ becomes very bad in Mosaic.

Actually thats the reason why i didnt make a mention of it. And also, we have take what they have given. I dont think we can customise it to our liking. Havent checked on PIP since long if they had updated any thing there!

Even I didn't tried it buddy. Need to work out . May be we could configure lesser PIPs. If this could be done, Man !!! I would just be deewana of d2h .
Though I was watching Blu Ray quality movies since last few days, so I felt that HD channels quality was not upto the mark as expected. But I was fool to think like this. After some try, I changed the picture setting of my LED TV & Booom !!! HD Channels are WOW now.

Yes, every HD DTH Operator provides an HDMI cable, I guess. I just wanted to make sure that there are no other settings that need to be changed apart from selecting the input as HDMI. I was lucky enough to get 4 HDMI cables along with my LG 47LE5500, so if I find the DTH provided cable to be of inferior quality then I can always use the ones that came with the TV.Thanks for your reply though.

No I was not talking about that mosaic thingie, it was true PIP where in one can see 2 videos at the same time one smaller in size and overlay-ed over the other and you can select the audio to listen to. With one tuner on board its not possible with traditional DTH.But with 2 tuners which all of the HD DVR's have it should be possible, I feel it should come by default with the system. One signal you are watching and the other is being recorded.... if this can be done then why not let the user view the 2 channels simultaneously. Hope it arrives. It was during the match in the evening that thought crossed my mind, coz parents started complaining about me hogging the TV

Oh okay...I thought I could always use the default picture settings like Vivid, Cinema, Sport, Movie, etc and the rest would take care of itself. Selecting the input as HDMI is the main thing to get an HD picture from the STB to the HD TV.
