Videocon D2H DTH Customer Experience

Finally, my Videocon d2h HD Installed today. Engineers have told me that they will come at 6. So I rushed out from asap after my office hrs and kept pinching Auto-Rikshawala to drive fast. But after reaching home in such Rush and long waiting of another one hour, Engineers arrived @ 7:00 PM
2 Engineers , Well Dressed and Groomed with d2h branded Uniforms . I was 1st shocked to see Chalta Firta Hardware Shop when they opened their bag. And they both started the work of Installation.
I was fixed for a moment when they said that they need roof key as Dish had to bring down to window from roof top. When I went to Serurity Gard , he was not there and was in Society Meet. WTF , I thought Installation not gonna complete today. But that smart Engineer guy thought of a brilliant Idea. They were having 30-35 metres of Cable Wire. He asked his colleouge to go down with Dish and he started hanging the cable from my 6th Floor Flat. The other person down there tied the Dish with LNB and he pulled it up. Finally Installation Done.
As guided by you guys, I insisted for 100 % quality strength and 90% signal. After 15 minutes of efforts Quality Strength started showing 100% whith slight fluctuation, but signal strength was 80-85 only.
Then, within 5 minutes he called and my card was activated and he started giving me Demos. I have a bad habbit of not learning demos quickly. So I said ok ok and he went after filling CAF and taking sign. One good thing I noticed that while he called for activation to his office, they instantly took my feedbak for Installation.
After they were gone, I immideately switched to HD Channels, but instantly found that there was EPG mismatch . But later when i switched off for connecting Home Theatre and switched back again. Software got updated and EPG mismatch issue was automatically resolved.
Though I was watching Blu Ray quality movies since last few days, so I felt that HD channels quality was not upto the mark as expected. But I was fool to think like this. After some try, I changed the picture setting of my LED TV & Booom !!! HD Channels are WOW now.
Amazing Quality of Star Cricket HD and ESPN HD. As I have a good experience of watching HD Videos since last few day, So I easily recognised the difference between the Live HD Channels and Blu Ray Videos. And I can assure that any DTH having large TP Space or wtever would sure be providing similar PQ only, as PQ and AQ are actually great. Only problem with AQ is I still not able to connect my 5.1 properly as Audio Jacks are somewhat malfunctioning.

Good you got it done today,now sit back & enjoy, if u are a f1 fan u going to love watching f1 on HD but the next race is far away :grumpy:I really enjoyed watching the earlier 2 races on HD, what an awesome experience, very nice for D2H to think about us F1 fans

Yes, I am a gr8 fan of f1 and even normal Sports events looks awesome in HD, then I am sure f1 gonna shake my eyes

Today Morning , when I switched On my LED, I found that Channels are having even better PQ . May be Antenna is slowly Stabilizing .
But, One thing I didn't liked that it takes 3-4 seconds while changing channels and Remote looks so fat in comparision to Hathway STB, I doubt what is the architecture inside it

For my Plasma TV installation i left the office by 3.30 PM last week......telling my boss that its my wedding day....but the ruth is it was my wedding day but eventually i wanted to go home early to install my plasma...the day before that TS HD+ was installed....The guys took almost 45 mins to install the TV in the wall ...i was just losing my patience as i wanted them to complete the job ASAP to see the HD Telecast in my TV....Oh Man that was a wonderful feeling....Many asked me why am i spending so much in TV viewing ....i spend for TV because i am addicted to it...

Actually Man, I was behaving like a small kid today helping engineers in Installation and eagarly watched how Antenna was Installed .
