You got it right in the first time itself. I use TS and i am not really happy with there packages and pricing. I was referring TS in terms of subscribers base and customer service.

Thats what even i commented in a TS thread - that a company, which is alleged to "Over-charge" their subscribers unnecessarily, too is giving it for a re. less than 4k......these ppl just cant afford to sell at 7k!!

Airtel N/A (only HD STD no DVR)
Sun Direct N/A (only HD STB no DVR)
Dish Tv N/A (only HD STB no DVR)

People refer TataSKy for only Cash rich.... The above prices prove otherwise.

Have these ppl reduced the price down to 5.999?? I mean even thats a reduction by Rs. 500.....still, should be another 500 to 1000 more, reduction that is!!

Ideal pricing should be 2499/- since the HDD is not even half the size of TS+

Oh c'mon, u cant be this unfair......for a differential of 340 GB, u want a reduction of 1500 bucks??We all totally agree that the pricing is too high.....but then it wudnt be fair to expect this kind of differential for 340 GB less.U must be knowing that the differential between a 160 GB HDD & a 500 GB HDD cant be 1500......and that too, when these companies buy in bulk.
