Vodafone 3G Delhi servers have a speed cap of 2mbps

I have experienced speeds less than 2mbps as well but over the past 2 months they have remained above 2mbps most of the times. I have had a high of 6mbps so the speed cap is definitely not there is the whole of Delhi. Also, the upload speeds have been the best for any 3G service provider. I had a poor experience with Airtel and the signals were forever fluctuating but things have been very good with Vodafone.
 
Yeah 3g coverage is quite decent now .. In last 15-20 days of my traveling in delhi I haven't seen any area where the 3g is not there .. So they have improved for sure ..Btw I too get upload more than 2mbps .. So the upload speed I get is more than download :D
 
I am yet to find 3G signal in my area...was waiting for months but no luck yet...as a result ported out my number...
 
I also did the same. Some one here posted that 3G is available in north-west delhi, i can gurantee that no part of west delhi is covered.As per vodafone 3G is officially available only in "South, Central and Gurgaon region only.3G is best with MTNL only.
 
I can certainly say tht 3G is available in Rohini, Pitampura, Vikas Puri, Janak Puri, Patel Nagar .. I guess these r localities in north-west area only.. right?? So its false tht it is available only in south, central or gurgaon area ..Other odd thing I noticed tht on my LG O1 it don't show 3g sign on phone if I haven't subscribed to the 3g plan .. Is it same for other guys too ?
 
@Hitman the problem lies with vodafone only. i reside in west delhi(rajouri garden), as per your post vodafone 3G should be available but since officially it's available in only three areas i can't activate 3G coz for 3G to be activated i have to recharge with 3G coupon, since i cant recharge thats why i cant get signal(network selection mode in phone)Thats why i was saying 3G isn't available in west Delhi.

i can gurantee that no part of west delhi is covered.

I have used 3G services in North & West Delhi.

Anyways, for the 1st time got more than 2Mbps of speed while using 3G in Central Delhi.
