I agree. Almost everyone I talk to seems to be disappointed with their respective telecom service providers. Regardless of whether it's 3G, 4G or 5G, quality of service is severely lacking in all of them.

Guess I'm going back to my landline to make calls :p
 
Well, there's a reason why Ftth providers have a provision of unlimited calls using landline

What clearing vendor dues via equity means for firms

Vodafone Idea's board approved preferential allotment of equity shares to Nokia and Ericsson to clear dues. Vi's vendor ATC Telecom also benefitted from stock market gains. Vi's move to dilute equity for debt repayment is uncommon in listed companies.

I hope airtel doesn't buy it. It will be around 20,000 crore which will total their ambition of 55,000 crore + 14,000 crores will come from lenders like banks. So overall it'll be around 60,000 crore of total funding in this year itself which will be huge for them. Hopefully all will go as planned and they will dominate the market in the coming years because if this revival fails then it will be very hard for them to recover.
