So has vodafone stated that they are not going to sell the iPhone 4 in India?

Not yet. But when Aircel & Airtel have made noise about their impending iPhone 4 launch and Vodafone has not, it seems unlikely that they will launch iPhone 4 for now.

But iPhone and Samsung Galaxy SII - or rather the iPhone OS & Google's Android OS are the best in the world.

i guess vodafone india made the right choice. androids are more popular in india. Galaxy s 2 is expected to do well... especially because it would get price cuts in the coming months. iPhone won't.

and most people who wanted to get the iphone 4 would already have purchased it in the international market. there is demand of course. but overall, supporting android would do good for them. :)

the phone is not on sale yet. ;) and of course indian companies are usually slow on updating their websites.blame outsourcing. airtel outsources to IBM. vodafone? not sure.
