2G GPRS data plansPrepaid Rs 99 2Gb 30days Postpaid Rs 299 2Gb 30daysWhat is the reason for postpaid being 3x higher than prepaid for the same amount of data.Is it just because Vodafone thinks they already have the customer and can therefore rip them off or is there another valid reason.PS; Vodafone; I called and emailed CC and in both cases was told that the pricing team sets the price so they could not say why.

You called them to inquire reasons behind high tariff rates :|

Yeah, I thought I was missing something, like maybe there were other inclusions or something,
after thier response I started looking around and found this thread.

Welcome to the forums, here you will get answers to most of your questions.BTW, it's not just Vodafone who has high tariff rates for postpaid subscribers.Airtel as well is charging Rs 198 for 2GB EDGE Pack which is a bit higher than Prepaid tariff which is 2GB for Rs 98

On airtel they just recently downgraded 98Rs/2GB to 98Rs/1GB :D

I am yet to receive any notification about it.

My validity ends today so, will confirm when I recharge again. Perhaps today itself.
