well that's right but with full talk-time offer's one get's the total amount he recharged for.for example i normally recharge with 222 and get talk-time of 222. There is no service tax on it.

already told you. government GETS the tax no matter what the service provider tells you. you think government gives special concessions on prepaid cards that are full value? the profit margins are such that it is easy for the service provider to 'remove' the service tax charge from these cards. i think postpaid is more suited for people with high usage. and that is the reason why not all mobile users are on prepaid. no matter how cheap the prepaid might look like, some or the other postpaid plan would have cheaper call rates (high usage).

well agreed government get's the tax but as long as am getting the benefit i need why should i care about the taxes.yes. Postapid plans are good for people with High usage.

there is no proof that you are getting benefited by full value talk time cards! it is just something that sounds like you are benefiting. you are just being dragged into the vicious traps of the mobile service providers in the country. wake up

wht do u say sushubh postpaid is more suited even for students?:ashamed:i don't know maybe you can enlighten me...

even i recharge my VF prepaid with rs222 thinking its more valuable...am i wasting my money?

well, i spend around 1,500rs per month to make calls. I have inquired about most of the postpaid plans to see if they can reduce my overall monthly charges but found that only corporate postpaid plans are worth going at. majority of the calls and sms i do is National. So every month i do a full talk-time recharge and use bonus coupons which further brings the tariff down. Sms is 10 paise(national and local). well, choosing a plan(prepaid or postpaid) depends on your usage. Most of the postpaid plans do give you a lot of offer's to make local calls and sms while they completely ignore national sms and sometimes national calls too. So i could not fetch a proper postpaid plan for me but you might be able to get you one depending on your needs. So just talk to the rep and see if they can offer you a great deal. But if possible stay away from Vodafone postpaid plans. try Airtel or idea. They are far more reliable.

Go for a postpaid plan only if you get a corporate one. I have a corporate plan, and am pretty happy with what I get. Normal postpaid though, I wouldn't have got.

Yeh corporate plans are pretty good.. 249 rental with 600min free to any mobile in Karnataka.. 200 Local SMS free, STD to VF @ Re.1 & to other its @ 2My bill comes to 450-500 every month. I generally make STD calls, Have asked my relatives to shift to VF in Delhi :p

In fact, VF has some 'Bonus' cards which are applicable to prepaid customers, where based on the amount you charge, you get certain goodies at a discount, like some have local SMS, some have local calls, and yet others STD. For instance, a 149 recharge gives 200 mins of STD - any phone, and 49 bucks gives 60 mins of STD. I would think that is pretty cheap.

^ yes! that's for other states. Here they have launched 75paise STD to any number if you recharge with 49 rs or so while on the other hand IDEA will give you STD @ 50 paise per minute to any number with a recharge of 99. :irock:
