They know one thing, rip off the customers pocket! I am skeptic that I would continue to use their data services, but I don't know what else is the alternative =|

Checked with Airtel its is 125-1 Gb & rs 198-2Gb (30 days) (AP)Since voda (prefered Gprs good speed/connectivity) is robbing blind(Rs 115-800mb), tried Docomo 4 gb- rs 149 pack last month. Now that is also vanished. A-Vo-ID gang gets a new member Docomo. (Anyway docomo sucks as it disconnects every 41 mins)Suddenly reliased rs 47 Aircel 1 Gb-15 days is not that bad and dusted of a few old Aircel sims.(dont go for Aircel unlimited packs.speeds are low). So now data card has voda gprs pack+ android has Aircel 1 Gb pack. For browsing not bad.will last me a week may be.Downloading is mostly via Idea 3G (9-10 mbs speed) & Airtel 3G (6-8 mbps speeds) sims usually early mornings or late night. (time based 30 mins pack or 1 hour pack)

I have my plans to move to Aircel 3G which is offering 2GB data free for 3 months for 447 which is 149 per month. Looks good to me.

Iam also considering the same.
Though Aircel 2G costs only rs 47 /1Gb, for important browing ,banking etc, keeping Aircel 3G (even at 3 mbps only) is a good idea.
Their Rs 222 recharge to main a/c gives a higher main balance.(exact amount changes by a few rupees depending on the states) .
Recharging sites also (like yebhi-I have not yet tried) gives extra wallet balance some times.
Overall paying Rs 75/ 1 Gb for 3G is a better option than paying rs 98-125 for 1 Gb/2G.
Just we need to pay up rs 450+ at one time.

I am frm chennai, and i get 1Gb of 3g pack fr Rs.125 :mml:
u ppl could chk ur individual offers by dialling *121# and select GPRS in tat
my offer :present: is tat the 1Gb 3g pack which normally costs Rs.249 is offered @ Rs.125 fr mu Vodafone number :triumphant:

Didn't noticed this thread until today.
can you please specify where to check this rates you mentioned 75/GB against one time payment of 450, I would love to have it :-)
I am using Aircel as backup and on weekends, paying Rs.198/1GB 3G,
and recharging Reliance netconnect every other day for Rs.98/1GB/2Days
