Vonage Help with MTNL

Dear Friend,
It works, if you need any help just plug it with ADSL router. Wait for 3-4 min. it will start working. if you need any help you can add deepakrgshama in yahoo or gmail. He will help you I had faced the same problem 3 months before. He solved it in 20 min. Its very easy to install. Dont worry your problem would be solved.

2 or from the Motorola Modem. Vonage Telephone calls later.

Use Your Id and password.
Check the settings. If possible make screen shots and upload at tinypic.com.
I am unable to access mine , it as userID/Password not known to me.

AT WHAT TIME YOU HAD SEEN OFFLINE. YESTERDAY HE WAS ONLINE BETEEN 8 AM TO 10 PM. TRY TO FINDOUT. OR BUZZ HIM IF YOU FIND OFFLINE BECAUSE SOMETIMES HE LOGGED IN INVISBLE MODE.

Dont purchase anything. MTNL peoples dont know anything about voip. it works with MTNL DSL502t.ATA you have from motorola. dontworry..give your number i will help you.

Thanks for all your replies...I called MTNL in bombay and now they tell me that i need something called ATA...Does anyone know what that is and if i need it or not. Is there anyone in bombay who i can call or for me anywhere in India so that i can troubleshoot this issue. Just to be clear with everyone I sent the Vonage phone from here i got it activated used it for a month or so made sure it is working right and now it is India...

Do i need a router to make it work? And if so which one should i get. I have a ADSL MTNL connection. On the back i have one ethernet port going to the computer and one connection coming in which seems like a phone line

I believe the problem was with the connection. I just followed the instructions which were the same what i had done earlier but everything was on at that time when i hooked it up. This time around i turned off everything cleared modem's memory and then hooked it back up and worked like a charm. So i guess anybody doing this make sure everything is off and u follow instructions from the manual
