It uses your broadband so you. But data consumption is negligible. Someone here just yesterday calculated it to be around 50KBps per second or something? Google should give better idea.

Yes agree, i too faced a similar situation at my office but now thanks to Vowifi I don't have to keep going out of my office whenever i receive a call!

It's volte but uses third party internet. You can actually make VoWiFi calls using the internet from second Sim on some devices. Someone here shared a photo where airtel was using jio Sim internet to connect to VoWiFi.

i can now confirm airtel vowifi works on Redmi note 7.
