Wanna buy Lord of The Rings book, which edition to buy?

hehe approx 300 pages per book :tongue: but considering the tiny text its about 500 or so :tongue:
There is like a boring A** 35 pages or so talking about various editions of the book, rather they should have worked on making standard readable text than to fit crap in it ! There are even last 10 pages of sort of advertisements to other books by Tolkein lol

Couple of years back I've tried to read LoR but like you said, the font was too small and book was over 1000 pages!! Gave up after couple of chapters ..language was too hard on me ...plus ive seen Extended versions of the movies instead of regular theatre cut..so Iam not that much of a fan of gandalf.

there is more background stories which makes movies even better, though I think Peter Jackson did excellent job with them
Harry Potter movies are ruined totally compared to the book ! Apart from the 1st one did not like any !
