Since youre keen on a modem router combo the router rj27 mentioned seems nice. Else, browse through TP-Link stuff on eBay. Post back if you need more help.

Hi Munna Mishra, I also second rj27's choice. Search of flipkart etc for best price.I am using that router+modem since >1 month. It is fantastic. excellent range, should cover the 1500 Sqft very easily. I get great range in a house > 2000 sqft across floors, thick walls, built years ago.
