To each his own, we are all free to believe what we want. I am not interested in getting into a meaningless argument & challenges about what can be proved here which is hardly the venue.
Nah, it looks like you are unable to back up your earlier statements. Its not a meaningless argument if you know what you're talking about. I don't have a vested interest to argue for the sake of it.
Not the venue ? what would be the venue for you. See, i think venue is immaterial, quality of the knowledge of the ppl you discuss with is what matters. Ppl with knowledge have no qualms sharing it or defending their positions.
A bit of searching on the internet can get you a lot of details about what I have said plus in the media (print & electronic). You are free to believe or disbelieve.
Not for me to do your homework.
About the mackerels I know the wife of the guy who did it when studying in a US university (living in our colony at one time). I don’t see a foreign hand in every time there is an issue of public health & safety.
Nobody mentioned anything about 'foreign hand' just that in the US tuna is supposed to be dangerous but not anywhere else that i can think of.
Reminds me of the official (before the CWG) who recently said that complaints about dirty toilets were because of different standards of hygiene. Till we saw the photos on tv.
I remember those photos, those toilets looked a damn side better than most toilets i've seen in homes. All marble & all. Oh the only thing was they needed a good cleaning. Big deal. The media made such a loud noise about it.
Of course there will be vested interests but we should be able to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Yeah so when you're rdy we'll get to it. For now i'd advise ppl to discount what you've said earlier.
Regarding the mangoes if I am not mistaken, our mangoes were not allowed in the US till recently with the quid pro quo of letting their Harley Davidson bikes into our country inspite of NOT meeting our PUC standards. Even this made a stink in the papers but there were lobbies for wanting the exports to US & there were bike lover who wanted those bikes here
Unless you coroborate it with US press articles talking about the same, ignore what you read in this country about other countries.

I agree, we can go on arguing till the cows come home but that would be a waste of time as like you said we have to take responsibility of our acts of omission & commission and carry on with our lives.
Indeed i've been having salads every day for many many years now and have had no problems whatsoever. Note how i've qualified my posts whereas you guys talk from a very general point of view and commingle all sorts of irrelvant things to make your point. Am not impressed.

These are a few links from my friend’s blog but there is a lot out there, even if 10% is bunk the rest 90% is quite scary. Don’t forget about the news reports of the crap they use to make adulterated milk in Mumbai, it can literally corrode your esophagus. Or the Mava last year. Of course we are free to imagine it’s a one of incident.
Every one of these is about manufactured goods. Thats a different ballgame altogether.
We were talking about plants so can you can you stick to that.
