^^^i know its either a script/firewall/router problem and asking to people who have faced similar problems or can think of a probable solutions...if u can think of few more things that cud be wrong, do enlighten me...
MTNL resets the connection from their side after 6 hours.whats the harm in restarting the computer? schedule it to restart after 6 hours and set the downloads to start automatically.
