What do you use for downloading

Tests failed bigtime! (I think.) Even with the firewall on 'Allow all'- it showed me two big FAILED chaapas!
I'm on a 256kbps and at night the speeds do go around 22 KB/s so I guess I'm OK.
Like I said I have a cable modem next to me and not a router so is there a way I can still forward ports (without talking to my ISP guys of course, which seems like an impossibility) ?

i m surprised very few ppl mentioned utorrent which is the fastest client acc to me!
neways i use mainly FTPs n go for torrents for old stuff coz the ftps i use have very less retention times (abt 3-4 days) ... neways i can max out my connection using ftps n private trakers like bitsoup.org, ilovetorrents.com etc...
link-removed.com is only a torrent archive .... it hashes torrents across popular public trackers where maintaining ratio is not necessary hence ppl throttle upload speeds which in turn reduce the entire swarm speed ... stupid ppl!

@mystery_inc: emule works on teh principle of sharing (just like dc++) but unlike the hubs that check the amt of data u have shared .... in emule the peers (users clients) chk the data n prioritize according the amount of data u have shared n how much u have uploaded to them.

edit: for ppl searching for ftps.... first of all install flashfxp n set it up according to ur likes..... n head over to this site for searching ftps full of goodies

i have almost stopped using utorrent as my torrent client. i end up using flashget for most of my torrent downloads.

i still use u torrent for the downloading.. its very very light.. n seems good enough.. get decent speeds.. n.. quite frankly.. 25kbps on torrents is decent enough for me.. also use megashares, n link-removed..

I use torrents...and both utorrent and azureus as client........BTW can anybody give links to Ftp sites (legal ones) like microsoft adobe etc..i just want them to download updates and patches..and also demos and trials

i mostly try to use link-removed,link-removed,etc. but sometimes i do have to use torrents.sometimes use ftp sites too.
