cant we do this.....we put an "FYI and then the terms and conditions...the one that are really offensive " and then some facts likecomes packed with lame ass antivirus that is ONLY A CLIENT . the server is at sify and they can get all the info from your pc at a click of a button . thats a lot of power in sify's hand . this is as good as a spyware ....

actually in sifymall...the products are sold under the unlimited category

Better yet, why dont we send emails to everyone with an address "@sify.com" ? We can put whatever we think about sify in that email. It wont just reach the users of sify but even the administration. I too was cheated by sify when I was using their dial up plan some 5-6 years back!

I remember seeing some articles in Economic Times and TOI in Mumbai - where the author favoured MTNL over Sify. I think we should establish contact with some of these authors and they can influence public opinion. Far cheaper and effective way to force Sify to changeI used to read these IT articles by Mala Bhargava in some magazine - Business World - i think. Get her to write a few 'decent :)' words about Sify. Should help in canvassing mass opinion.

Thx for the link tushar, but a part of my mind says I should edit your post and delete the link, but then what the heck, let it remain :P

Fred, only 1 link on that page actually works....And I didn't say SPAM sify people. I said, lets draft a good letter which we can send to sify customers URGING them to change their service provider for various reasons. We can put in info on hidden costs incurred in using a sify connection....
