I changed my subnet from 255.255.255.0 to 255.255.0.0. and it asks me to enter the domain name ?
What is it ?
Do I have to enter it ? mandatory .

I am using CPPlus NVR and connecting to Reliance Jio router, and for which I need to change the subnet mask ?

See the line where it says domain name ?
Thanks

you can enter router.lan for domain or something similar. It will show up when you do pings and traceroutes I think, not a real domain name ofc.

CPPlus requires /16 subnet mask? That's the entire 192.168.0.0/16 range (192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255) . I don't think it should need that.

See snapshot, This is from my home router. This is not the router where I have the problem,

The problem described above is for my apartment complex where we have the IP cameras connected to NVR which is connected to the Reliance Jio router.

So you are saying to just enter "router.lan" in the domain name ?

Right.
