Okay so I've been using Airdroid and I get around 750 kBps, and I'm fine with that. I have a question though. Don't laugh :O Can Airtel by any chance count this transfer in my FUP quota?

Wifi n to Wifi n client I get around 2.5MBps. Ethernet to Wifi n client 5.5 to 6.5MBps. Ethernet to ethernet 11MBps (100mbit connection).
DIR615 (a low scoring router) operating on N only mode wpa2.

lol. No.
Don't laugh. :angry:I was wondering cause Airtel says that I've used 30 GB since the 26th. And my phone says that I've transferred 7.7 GB via Airdroid. I thought maybe Airtel over counted.

Also. Can anyone explain to a n00b like me how Airdroid basically works?

In lite mode it transfers files using your wifi connection i.e one IP to another just like wifi direct. If you login and access through data network, you will be charged for upload/download
