What type of router is Compatible with ACT Broadband Connection

Hi,I got a new ACT connection which is working flawless now, I am looking to buy a WiFi router for the same, can any one please suggest a router which works good with ACT, I am confused as the customer care rep told me I can use DSL routers while few posts here in this forum tell me a different story. Please suggest.ThanksSrikanth

Yes WiFi router, you can use any as long as your cable modem provides a RJ45 (ethernet) cable into the WiFI routers LAN port.

Hi Srikanth,Belkin N150 works fine for me with ACT. It has above average WiFi coverage at my home. We can configure PPPoE as well, so that the initial web login of ACT can be avoided. Once the Router is ON, Internet is ON. No more hassles of logging in. There might be better routers as well, but I suggest this one. RegardsSmokinJoe
