What would you do with a 100mbit/s or 1Gbit/s connection?

Actually I am happy with 10Mbps Right now but I need more GB's in order to work it out. Whats up with LLU in india, I haven't heard much from years.

I find a happy amount at the moment is around 25-30mbit/s per users, so a household of 4 users might like to have 100mbit/s (less will suffice, but it depends on how heavy the usage is).

From what I understand, it's been shot down consistently by those whose networks would be unbundled (BSNL and MTNL).

The FTTH last-miles being undertaken by BSNL and MTNL were *supposed* to be built as open, but so far I've not heard of it actually happening and it doesn't seem to be in any of the latest documentation (unless I skimmed past that bit). When we're ready to move in to cities like Jaipur we might try our luck and see how we get on.

More GBs in terms of data usage limit or HDD space? :D

I think I have Enough space on my HDD, Need more data Usage. We might hear one more bang this year from beam. I have Some real Tasty news Coming. I hope i will let it out when i get 2 know about it when its mostly confirmed.

Why these bastards are so mean? No one is asking them to open their lines for free? They can bring Revolution in Indian broadband. We may get 10Mbps Unlimited for less than 1000 Bucks if that actually happens. Also 100Mbps with Fup would be possible for 2k.

Anyone heard about OnLive???If i get tht kind of speed it would b awesome to play high end games on my atom powered netbook...LoL.

OnLive is not about data transfer speeds as much as it is about latency. even if you are on a 100mbps connection in india, it would not magically improve latency to US based servers.

I m just saying. Anything is better than my 1mbps plan that cannot even connect on netbook because of its slow speed. Works like a charm on my android though.

Strange you should be bored already. Just to clarify, I hope you are downloading DVDs (not rips) or BRRips of 10Gigs and above for your movies. It is a waste of bandwidth otherwise. And listen to songs in FLAC format, not mp3. Watch Youtube only if there is a 1080p

Already bored with movies. Youtube is fun but there are not many which have 1080p/720p videos :(Where can we listen to songs in FLAC format? Didnt know about it before...
