Is there any way of disabling autocorrect on WhatsApp for desktop?

edge and other microsoft apps have that feature which can be disabled in settings. Apple have their own version i believe. it definitely does not apply on chrome.

Found the setting here to disable autocorrect universally on Mac. It's so damn annoying that for browser there was a different setting, and for WhatsApp desktop app, I had to disable it here. It was already disabled on Word, I have no idea why. I don't understand MacOS.
