heh. some of us think of this as a feature. though i would not be surprised if telegram ends up adding stories in a future update. signal seems unlikely.
Lots of people will be happy. Happiest will be the newspaper companies. Many have started believing this drivel. They have started posting 'I told you so' messages on WhatsApp.
Its so easy nowadays. First you create a lie. Then you shout it out shrill & loud. Then repeat it many times after that there will be umpteen mindless morons who will take up the chant for you. And hey presto it takes on a life of its own
I like the way "security experts" pop out of the woodwork claiming WA is safe. Claiming to know something about this topic & further claiming to have done research on this topic. Their definition of research is typing some gibberish in Google search & parroting out the results.
WhatsApp is adamant that they are being transparent about user data, but those seven points are not the whole truth. What isn’t being talked about is what other data is being shared with Facebook Company Products, for improving services, personalizing suggestions and serving uncannily precise ads.
In their language "its a no brainer" India, Brazil, China are biggest users of messaging apps. Though I am not sure this app is allowed in the China. It gives them bragging rights & more importantly the valuation increases. So at the end of the day, I guess 'its all about money honey'.
