best to link to source.

At that time, you’ll encounter limited functionality on WhatsApp until you accept the updates. This will not happen to all users at the same time.

You won’t be able to access your chat list, but you can still answer incoming phone and video calls. If you have notifications enabled, you can tap on them to read or respond to a message or call back a missed phone or video call.
After a few weeks of limited functionality, you won’t be able to receive incoming calls or notifications and WhatsApp will stop sending messages and calls to your phone.

the courts should at least have some shame and direct government to stop using whatsapp for any official communication AND public communication as well.

it's a shame that people are forced to accept whatsapp privacy policy not for their own personal communication but for official communication and get support from government channels.

i do have a question for people who are not happy with this policy change...

i haven't read much about it but it is mostly about data sharing with facebook right?

now i get it, most of you can't stop using whatsapp. what i wanted to know was... what's stopping you guys from deleting your facebook account?

if there is no facebook account, the data sharing becomes not so big of an issue right? i mean sure facebook has shadow profiles for people who do not even have an account for them. but that's not the big problem here.

I already deleted it in 2019. I want end users to be fully aware of what is happening with their personal data and I DISTRUST MARK!!
