Since May 15 deadline has gone, has anybody (who didn't accept the new policy) noticed any significant changes in their whatsapp services?

Yes. They've blocked incoming and outgoing calls for me since the past 3 days. I'm able to send/receive messages for now, including voice and other media messages. I guess they'll soon shut down that too. Backups to Gdrive aren't working either.
I haven't checked calls, but backups are still working for me.
It's just pure blackmail. They say they won't delete the account, for marketing purposes of course, but they'll stop the entire app dead in its tracks, just to get us to agree to their terms. This is why we need anti-trust rules and better competition.
