sadly i dont think they'll introduce new plans any time soon..BSNL has excellent coverage all over the india...only way it can be improved is by privatizing it!! Coz even still its making losses...Govt is least bothered and my BP goes up every time i hear 256kbps plan! >:K

Maybe they will launch new plans in 2015 God knows, BSNL has 75% market share of Internet in India, if they launch new high Speed Unlimited affordable Plans it could change entire broadband infrastructure of India and make progress in the Indian Internet sector.

I checked with one of the BSNL officers that I know... Only yesterday. No new plans as of now. Pity... @param_nokia: Gotta agree with you on that one!

If BSNL makes the move in upgrading all plans with a base of 1mbps and implementing a proper F.U.P on all plans, or just removing F.U.P altogether (hey I can dream right?) India's Internet sector will really boom 
We don't want any new plans dude.We people will be happy if they double the speeds of the Combo 500 and 600 plans atleast during night (2am. to 8am.) and increase the data limit to 2GB and 3GB respectively without any FUP's.
2 GB Data Limit ?? I never thought that people have such a low expection level. May be that is why BSNL is still being able to sell those crap plans.

I think, Its not possible. Most of my friends kicked out BSNL already, you see many isp's are offering better speed @ RS 600-650 than BSNL while they are still offering 256k(which is A big NO NO)

It is 256Kbps and not 256KBps. There is a difference between bits and Bytes.

Dude you should have tried calling local reliance person. you may find his number on the advertisment board in your street if you have feasibility over there?
