Which BSNL modem to get

I checked the BSNL site and it tellme about 4 types of modem

I have a wrt54g wifi router so only need a modem that would allow me to use PPOE through my wrt54g. So which of these modem would all me to configure it in a transparent bridged mode(basically act like a modem not a router) with dhcp diabled and have the router do the logins. Also I need something stable. What are my options?

Could some one tell me what the differnt types mean and their features and models if possible? Another (stupid) question is if you buy the modem then do you need to pay for the monthly rental?

I am only interested in type1 or type 3 could some one recommend a stable modem for type 1 or 3 also could someone please tell me whoch modem foes BSNL provide for type 1 and 3 in Ahmedabad

you would need to ask the nearest customer care for that.. it depends..

It's your take.Get either the Type 1 or Type 3. Both are good.

Hey mti you said, you have a wrt54g wifi router, so get typeI modem as your router already have 4 ethernet port.... so there is no need of type III
