Today when I checked just now international speeds and pings have gone down the toilet.

Like 500+ ms ping and single digit speeds (5 mbps) to various international locations on speedtest.net
Exactly same I am facing from last 1-2hours. Tried rebooting modem a lot and tried a lot of ip but getting same shit. Probably something wrong from BSNL end for sure.

@vacatedzeus2 Try Jio-Mumbai, Jio-Jaipur. But I believe you will get nice pings as always because in normal times too you get 5-10ms to 8.8.8.8 while I get 26-30ms :(

Any specific servers, let me check too

Yeah currently only Pune servers giving full speeds, even Jio Mumbai server crawling slow now.

Specific servers are like "Nice-DFOX" (france) anything in London, Copenhagen (Denmark), Berlin (Germany), even singapore OVH CLoud server is slow now (was full speed yesterday evening).

@vishalrao I have a theory and it seems right for me at least. 117 series ip has that terrible speed to jio mumbai. I changed my ip to 117.xx and I got like 30 down and 400 up. But any 59 series ip gives me 320 down and 340 up for same jio mumbai.

yeah probably the different IP series connects to different router circuits resulting in different routes and one may be facing an issue while other not.

im on 117 today (very rarely i get 59 series) and international speeds seem to be little better in the past few minutes, though not fully proper yet

Write Now I'm getting very asymmetric speed to every international servers including few locals too

1-5 mbps Dl and 300 Mbps UL --> SPeedtest to OVH/i3D/GTTs

Fast.com: 210 Dl and 300+ UL

^I'm on 200 Mbps plan

I think only 59.xx series is well optimized, when I initially got the FTTH connection, i got 59 series mostly and it was very relaible and consistent with 100+ Mbps to almost any server I tested( tho pings ver +2-10 ms wrt 117 series)

Pings are pathetic now, earlier both GDNS&CF < 20 ms and today morning I observed 90ms with packet drops
